Accommodations:
The Holiday Inn Express in Salem is new, their rooms run $113-$138
and suites $128-$137.  Their rates include continental breakfast.
The hotel has a nice lobby and an outside firepit area.   As of December 1,
they have 5 king suite rooms available.  Our recommendation is to book a
refundable room rate for maximum flexibility.

Book at HIExpress.com or call 1-888-480-0427.

There are other accommodation choices, old Holiday Inn is a Days Inn, the former Comfort Inn is a Quality Inn and (Woodruff's) Continental Motel (618-548-3090) continues to offer clean economical accommodations.

For the RV'ers there are hookups at the Marion County Fairgrounds.  To book, call the fair office at 618-548-1251.
Leave a message and Marilyn will return your call.
