Velma Lee Brasel, 82, mother of Don Miller, passed away on Friday, December 23, 2011, at Friendship Nursing Home in Nashville, IL.

She is survived by her son, Don Miller and wife Iris of Nashville; and two grandchildren, Stefani Miller of Menlo Park, CA, and Bridget Blatt and husband Josh of Bethlehem, PA.

Services will be held at 10:30 a. m. Wednesday at Rogers-Atkins funeral Home in Salem, with Andy DeWitt officiating. Interment will follow at Masonic Cemetery in Benton, IL.

Friends may call from 9 to 10:30 Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Project Bread of Salem or Salem Hospital Auxiliary and will be accepted at the funeral home.
