Mr. Davis
There are many stories about Mr. Davis, I am sure, but the one that I'll always remember is when I was in the library. Someone at another table was shooting wintergreen candy at people with a rubberband. After a few successful hits, one suddenly made an arc for the doors...just as Mr. Davis was walking it. It struck him between the eyes right on the bridge of his glasses.

Mr. Davis immediately went to the student, held out his hand for the rubberband, snapped him a few times on the shoulder with it, then wrapped it around his throat, pulled him out of the chair with it and lead the student like a bad puppy held by the collar down to Mr. Gum's office.

So inquiring minds want to know. Who was the shooter? Give us initials and let us guess.

Thanks Charles. I had a good laugh thinking of this. Janet

I don't remember, unfortunately. I can only say it was a guy, and it wasn't me.

I remember Mr. Davis as my favorite teacher. He was the main reason I took Senior English. For all the trouble I seemed to have with some of the teachers that year, Mr. Davis was definately not one of them!
