September 11, 2002 Union Chapel Cemetery - Field Township - Jefferson County, IL
Funeral services were held for Bradley Allen Johnson, 51, of Louisville, Kentucky, formerly of Kell, on Sunday, September 15, 2002, at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with burial in Union Chapel Cemetery in Texico, Illinois.  The Reverends G. Mike Smith and Randy Hayes officiated the services.  Johnson died Wednesday, September 11, at his home.  He was born September 25, 1950, in Salem, the son of Donald Joe and Eleanor Blankenship Johnson.  He was formerly married to Gayle Mann.  He was an electrical engineer and a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.  He attended Kell Grade School, Salem and Mt. Vernon High Schools, and the University of Louisville.  Survivors included his mother, Eleanor Johnson of Swansea; two daughters, Kathy Jo Crain and Cynthia Marie Johnson, both of Louisville, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Ronnie Lee and Jessica Lynn Crain, both of Louisville, Kentucky; one sister, Deborah Miller and husband David of Belleville; and two nephews, David Alexander and Derek Blake Miller, both of Belleville.  He was preceded in death by his father.  Memorials could be made to the Union Chapel Cemetery and were received by the Osborn Funeral Home in Dix.
